Apolatl is a textile project that relates product to stageplay.

It represents an autonomous space and advocates the emergence of young visual art. The project affirms a métis lifestyle and melts cultures, traditions and innovative creation.

In 2018, Apolatl went on a itinerant residency in 10 locations around Mexico, along with the Fédération des Alliances Françaises du Mexique.

For each location, after a process of researches, recordings and collaborations, a musical landscape was created by Hugo Mir-Valette (Dladle, Le Temps du Rêve), that took part of the stageplay by Fabienne Guilbert Burgoa.

Each track has its own story : tales, songs, but also traditions and social issues are all breathing in the music.
